ABOUT EUCLID TECHLABS > PAVEL AVRAKHOV | VISITING SCIENTIST
Pavel Avrakhov graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 1989 with M.S. in Physics. He has held several positions in Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics in Novosibirsk (1984-1989) and Protvino branch of Budker Institute, Moscow region in 1989-2003. Since 2003 Mr. Avrakhov entered the Physical-Technical Center of Lebedev Physical Institute, Protvino, Moscow, Russia. He is currently a Visiting Senior Researcher of Euclid Techlabs LLC. His research interests include SC accelerating structure for a linear collider, high power microwave sources for accelerator applications, beam position monitor, industrial accelerator design. Mr. Avrakhov is experienced in high power RF measurements as well as in e/m simulations for accelerating structures, coupling systems and other high power accelerator components. He has taken part in the following collaborations: TESLA (superconducting accelerating super-structure optimization, beam position monitor), JLC (11.424 GHz klystron), VLEPP (relativistic klystron and RF windows design) and CLIC (S-band injector linac design).
He has held visiting appointment in DESY, Germany (1997), Orsay, France (1999-2000) and KEK, Japan (1996, 1998, 2003).
